Inbetweening Assignments

Here are a series of assignments for you to do that will help you gain confidence in inbetweening.

They are set up from introductory to intermediate and then into some advanced stuff.

If you've never done this before - start with the introductory level and work your way up. If you're a 2nd year animation student, try out the intermediate assignments and go from there.

Each of the links below will take you to the assignment page that will have an explaination of what you are to do and then a link to a .pdf file of the drawings that you can print out and use. You'll need access to an animation punch (if you go to an animation school this shouldn't be a problem) and an Acme animation disk or pegbar. If you don't have these, you can still do the assignment using a Lightfoot 3 hole punch peg bar and a standard 3 hole paper punch. If you don't have one of these, you can order it directly from Lightfoot Ltd.

If you don't want to spend the $4.95 you can always just use "cheapo corner registration" method.
